ImageBrowserProBeta user guide

ImageBrowserPro user guide

Start with the task you want to complete. These instructions cover the current ImageBrowserPro workflow, with separate pages for optional plugins and connected services. Menu labels and available tools can vary with your installed version, edition, and enabled plugins.

Your first assignment

  1. Install and activate the invited build.
  2. Insert a camera card and ingest to make working copies, or open an existing folder.
  3. Cull → Edit → Tone: narrow candidates, make the final human selection, then adjust the permitted appearance.
  4. Write captions, export the final files, and check the actual output before delivery.

Read the result, not only the button

Each task explains where to start, the important options, what is saved, how to verify it, and what to do when it fails. Keep original images and sidecars together. A Selection Set is not an image backup, and a remote preview is not a downloaded original.

The guides describe implemented controls; they do not certify every camera format, external service, projector, or packaged release. Planned and parked tools are not presented as working steps. Optional AI remains reviewable and is not required for ordinary ingest, culling, captions, or burst navigation.

Using this manual

Follow links to related tasks, use your browser’s Find command for text within a page, and print a task page when you need an offline checklist. Start with a small disposable practice set. If your result differs, record the version and exact message and follow support instructions.
