ImageBrowserPro changelog
This public changelog records the version customers can identify in the app and the independently versioned documentation published with it. It summarizes visible changes without exposing private infrastructure, protective controls, or implementation details.

The app and documentation use separate version numbers because documentation can be corrected or clarified without replacing the installed application.
Documentation 2026.10.03.1 — October 3, 2026
- Updated Photo Information Templates with Build, readable review and explicit field application, plus actual native screenshots.
- Added current Shoot Setup, filename recipes, caption phrases, CSV exchange and reviewed Photo Mechanic conversion guidance.
- Updated ingest presets/common values, card detection, workspace preferences and beta feature availability.
- Updated Work Mode drawing, sticky notes, imported grid previews, recording controls and portable Critique Binder instructions.
- Kept AI-generated sample photographs clearly identified and app controls captured from the real interface.
These updates describe the current development workflow. Installed beta versions can differ; the documentation release does not install a new desktop build. Physical-camera, cloud-provider and two-Mac classroom checks remain separate acceptance work.
ImageBrowserPro beta 1.0.0-beta.1 — September 20, 2026
Added
- Clearer guidance for the core photography workflow: ingest or open, Cull, Edit, Tone, caption, and deliver.
- Expanded organization and collaboration tools for Selection Sets, review handoffs, teaching, and presentation.
- More complete metadata, naming, export, and editing guidance inside the application and public manual.
- Beta installation, activation, update, and clean-machine testing instructions.
Changed
- Core features and optional plugins are identified more clearly so users can tell which tools belong to the installed build.
- Workflow language and controls are more consistent across browsing, selection, metadata, tone, and delivery tasks.
- Connected-service documentation now states when an account, provider configuration, edition, or plugin is required.
Fixed
- Improved reliability when loading packaged plugins and supported RAW resources.
- Corrected several metadata-entry and saved-value behaviors.
- Strengthened beta startup and release acceptance checks.
- Improved release documentation so testers can verify the installed version and report a reproducible problem.
Security
- Strengthened protected download handling and limited unfinished services in beta builds. Technical security details are intentionally omitted from this public changelog.
This remains a controlled beta. Available tools can vary by platform, edition, build, and enabled plugins. Keep original photographs backed up and verify exported files before delivery.

- Established the expanded public manual, category navigation, and task-based article structure.
