Updates and optional plugins
Install an app update
- When the header shows Update available, click it to download.
- Keep the app open while it shows Downloading.
- Finish your current work, then choose Restart to update when the download is ready.
To check manually, open Preferences and choose Check for updates. If offered, choose Download Update, then Install and Restart. You choose when to download and restart.
Install a plugin you were invited to test
- Open Plugin Manager.
- If needed, enter the private catalog URL supplied with your invitation and choose Save Catalog URL.
- Choose Refresh, find the requested plugin, and choose Install.
- Wait for download, verification, installation, and enabling to finish.
The starter beta begins without optional plugins enabled. Only use the private catalog supplied by the developer. Report a missing plugin rather than copying files into hidden app folders.
