Enable included optional tools

The Plugin Library shows available product workflows and their lifecycle. A source or catalog listing does not mean the feature is included, purchased, enabled, or ready in your current build. Start with the tool you need rather than enabling everything.

Find and enable a tool

  1. Open Plugins from the activity bar or the corresponding Settings section.
  2. Search by the product name. Inspect its description, family, status, and available install/enable controls.
  3. If the workflow is included and installable, use its normal install path and wait for the result. Use Enable when the plugin is installed but inactive.
  4. Return to the app and open the contributed tool. Restart only when the app or plugin requires it.
  5. Test the workflow with a small appropriate sample. Configure any provider/server dependency before expecting remote functions to work.
  6. If you no longer need it, use its supported disable control. Bundled/development source is not necessarily removable through the UI.

Know the tool families

Required core-backed modules include Cloud Storage, Audio Caption Transcriber, and Template Builder. Optional workflows include Assistant Engine, Data Manager, Camera Decision Coach, Bulk Metadata Injector, Contest Metadata Prep, Grader Browser Pro, the GBP Student edition, Picture Editor, Media Browser Pro DAM Bridge, BrowserPro Connect Bridge, and WordPress Bridge. Availability is edition/license/build dependent. Collaboration has a separate opt-in path.

Internal pack controllers and merged legacy aliases are not competing products you need to install. Parked C2PA, removed video analysis/timeline tools, and preserved reference sources are not current enabled workflows. If your invitation omits an optional feature, a guide for it does not override the build's restrictions.

Data and verification

Plugins reuse the app's supported registration and file access paths, but each workflow may have its own local records, external account, or export format. Disablement is not a documented universal deletion of those records. Reopen the tool and check its actual controls before starting a large job. See the task guides in this section for the specific saved result.

Problems and next steps

If install or activation fails, retain the error and check license eligibility and connection status. Do not bypass activation or copy unknown plugin source into app internals. If a tool opens but cannot complete an action, test its dependency separately. Start with Cloud Storage, Newsroom, Assistant Engine, Grader, or Contest preparation.
